Our show: (from www.thisamericanlife.org)
This American Life is a weekly radio show which can be heard on more than 500 public radio stations around the country and through a free podcast.
There's a theme to each episode, and a variety of stories on that theme. It's mostly true stories of everyday people, though not always. There's lots more to the show, but it's sort of hard to describe. Please visit the website where you'll find our archives, show descriptions and a list of favorite episodes that will get you better acquainted with the program.
My bio (the short version):
Before her internship with This American Life in 2002, Jane Feltes was programming director for The University of Illinois at Chicago's student radio station. She became a producer at TAL in spring 2004. She now reports and produces stories for both the radio and television versions of the program and acts as the music supervisor for the television series.
